Ms. Goranson’s career in education began with the Grafton Job Corps in 2011 where she served as a career counselor. In 2014, Ms. Goranson became an ESL site director at Saint Peter-Marian where she developed English Language Learners (ELL) programming, coordinated international student support services, and most recently oversaw the SPM academic/media center.
As the Saint Paul academic success coordinator, Ms. Goranson provides primary support and supervision of the school’s Academic Resource Center (ARC), coordinates the Virtual High School program, facilitates tutoring programming, and enhancements of student academic skills in all disciplines. Ms. Goranson earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Worcester State University, and is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Education at WSU. Her previously earned state licensures and professional credentials include Health/Family and Consumer Sciences, SEI endorsement, and Virtual High School site coordinator certification.
